The following line (found here) causes the json to include json-parsed HTML in the accepted answer:
"text": {{ block.settings.content | json }}

I recommend using the following instead:
"text": {{ block.settings.content | strip_html | json }}

Yes, this is correct, the output should be markup-free. I will update the code
