如果说，异性之爱导致肉体生命不朽，那么，同性之爱则导致灵魂生命不朽。有身体的生育，有身体的后代；但也有灵魂的生育，有灵魂的后代。如果说，灵魂生命比肉体生命更为高级的话，那么，促成灵魂不朽的同性之爱也比促成肉体不朽的异性之爱更为高级。
