email to challenge participants
email to conference attendees
article in IEEE spectrum
blog article
announcement at https://mimic.physionet.org/events/bhibsn-challenge/
share presentations and/or code from projects

anything else?

A couple other things:

Brief survey / questionnaire about improving the challenge or other resources they used or would like.
Get reimbursed

More may come to mind, and I'll add if it does.
