Change sensor.{name}_odometer so HASS stores long term stats

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When the odometer sensor is setup it follows the default in HASS that only 10 days of historic data is stored in the history.

Describe the solution you'd like
To change the properties of this sensor value so that HASS stores the info as part of the long term statistics.

Describe alternatives you've considered
The only alternate I can see is to push this to some external database which I currently do not have.

This shows my stats being truncated.
