Context

xPRO application is currently running on Django=3.2.x that is expected to meet its end of life in April 2024

Designs and Mockups

  • Add support for Django 4.x
  • Make any code changes to support the newer Django release

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Add support for Django 4.x. Make any code changes necessary
  • Check compatible Python versions and upgrade accordingly
  • Check other packages and upgrade accordingly
  • Make the necessary changes in CI/Github Actions
  • Test the application for any possible breaking changes since the app doesn't have a 100% coverage
