Epic Games changed the exchange code authentication from GET request on https://www.epicgames.com/id/api/exchange to POST request on https://www.epicgames.com/id/api/exchange/generate.
So you should probably update your notes.

it also requires a valid csrf token (from what i've looked at, it's possible through a cookie; haven't seen if it's possible via header)
