As reported here: miyagawa/HTML-Selector-XPath#12 . You suggested this should be fixed in Web::Scraper instead. And the author of HTML::TreeBuilder::XPath has reaffirmed his position that it is not a bug and that a note in the HTML::TreeBuilder documentation would suffice.
