media queries issues

Hi,

I use latest version of Jammit which uses yui compressor gem version 0.9.1.
When I compress a CSS file with media queries, those queries don't work.

This is a known issue of "old" versions of the YUI compressor. The solution would be to use a more recent version.

Hi Damien,

I believe you meant to file this issue with the yui-compressor gem, not my gem which is titled (somewhat confusingly) yuicompressor. My gem is already using the YUI compressor version 2.4.4 which should be able to handle media queries correctly as pointed out in the stack overflow thread you linked to. Jammit uses the yui-compressor gem, which can be found here.

Good luck getting changes merged into yui-compressor. I was unable to get my JRuby implementation in (thus I created my own gem), but a simple update to the YUI compressor library should be a lot easier to make.

thanks a bunch for the info! I was confused indeed when I saw the tree contained version 2.4.4 of YUI compressor... thanks again :)
