How far are you with this?

i want to add convenience funcs for modifying the currently playing song without having to tell the func what song you want to modify.

then I want to fix that fading/muting only works on next loop run of current song -> i want the funcs to apply the desired changes immediately, with the option to delay until the next run

several bugs should be fixed, but the changes are still untested
