Willingness to contribute

Yes. I would be willing to contribute this feature with guidance from the MLflow community.

Proposal Summary

Sometimes, you may have 501 run, or 600, or 1000. In which case, it's pretty sad to see a select box in charts settings limiting it to just 500 runs.

An easy fix would be to change this select box to select/edit box, and add an 'All' option at the bottom (which should probably be the default).

Motivation

What is the use case for this feature?

Displaying more than 500 runs. Being able to just display 'all' runs without thinking how many there are.

Why is this use case valuable to support for MLflow users in general?

Why is this use case valuable to support for your project(s) or organization?

Why is it currently difficult to achieve this use case?
