In terms of the readme I would recommend starting to post information about the hardware and software requirements for downloading and running the game. This will help you to start taking deployment into consideration and thinking about how you can optimize the game for better performance. Whether it be optimizing your assets to reduce triangles or evaluating how you are handling your lighting.
