Seems that project is no longer maintained:

aelbore/esbuild-jest#69

No updates over the last 2 years and lots of reported issues.

Have you considered other options?

Nope, I'm not up-to-date with the current status of the deps of this project 😅

I reviewed most of them. esbuild-jest was the only questionable dep. Everything else looks great. Solid approach.
