It looks like this is causing distorted/choppy output in MS Edge, which has a sampleRate of 192000. The other browsers I've been testing seem to use 44100, which is fine.

Any ideas?

I can put together a test case if need be.

Hmm, I don't think it can be solved in this module.

I have heard of the sample rate thing before. Seems like Edge will use the default sample rate specified in system settings, but other browsers are smart and use a sample rate that actually makes sense for browser audio.

I would call it a bug with Edge as there is no need for the audio context sample rate to be that high (just a waste of CPU).

Maybe some machines default to the higher sample rate? Maybe it depends on the audio device?
