Hey

Firefox does not seem to be showing social links under the author's avatar. Tested this on HTTP and HTTPS on the demo, and my own fork of the theme. Local Jekyll instance and Github Pages both.

minimalmproblems

I use Ubuntu 14.04

Smells like a problem with the browser rendering the Font Awesome webfont. Chrome had this bug awhile back and they updated something and it worked. Do the icons work here http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/

Works perfectly there.

Take a look in web developer tools and let me know if there are any errors
in the console.

Use of getUserData() or setUserData() is deprecated. Use WeakMap or element.dataset instead. requestNotifier.js:63
Using //@ to indicate sourceMappingURL pragmas is deprecated. Use //# instead jquery.min.js:1
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js is being assigned a //# sourceMappingURL, but already has one
window.controllers is deprecated. Do not use it for UA detection.

Well doesn't look like there is an issue with Fint Awesome loading
properly. No idea what's going on. I'm out of ideas. Could be a plugin your
using or some edge case I can't reproduce because I'm not on Ubuntu or
using FF.

Ahhh, alright, I guess I'll look around myself. I've been banging my head against this all week. I'll post an update if I figure it out.

There ya go. Gotta watch those plugins! They can break all kinds of stuff.

Font Awesome has this on their website regarding Ad Block.

Apparently, Adblock Plus can remove Font Awesome brand icons with their "Remove Social Media Buttons" setting. We will not use hacks to force them to display. Please report an issue with Adblock Plus if you believe this to be an error. To work around this, you'll need to modify the social icon class names.
