Don't think so. Most activity is happening on doctrine/inflector.

as i use laravel, i found that this is also in Illuminate/Support/Pluralizer

(FWIW, I've been working towards a refactor to split things into Inflections and the actual Inflector, but it's still in progress...)

best thing would be a maintained version (like the one in doctrine mentioned above) in the laravel framework. The doctrine one is far more powerful - it looks like..
