Feature request: playing Streams

It would be great to be able to play a sound from resources

EDIT: ah but I see on linux that this works by just passing a filename to external program so I'm guessing this wouldn't be possible

Would probably work if it accepts input from stdin.

It might accept from STDIN but as far as I can tell, this applies to file names only.

EDIT: I hope I'm wrong, I also need this feature.
