The string comments of the components of PartialFriction read e.g.,

  • "Friction force for v=0 and forward sliding"
  • "true, if v_rel=0 and start of forward sliding"
    However, there neither is a velocity component v nor v_rel in PartialFriction. Instead the velocity componet v_relfric exists.

Similar comments can be found in the PartialFriction model of Rotational.
