It appears that the documentation and the code for Modelica.Electrical.Analog.Ideal.ControlledIdealIntermediateSwitch are in disagreement with one another. The documentation (especially the diagrams) suggests that when control.v > level, the switch is connected straight through, and when control.v <= level, the switch is connected in a cross-over. Solving the equations in the code seems to suggest the opposite.
It also appears that someone started writing the text of the documentation correctly, and then changed their mind half way through the sentence: "p1 is connected to n2, and p2 is connected to n2".

It is correct: The documentation was wrong.
The documentation was improved on the trunk(MSL3.2) a8e9d43, and on maintenance MSL 3.1 49b0b9a, 4bd542d.
The switch behaviour was not changed.
