I think the feature still needs clarification – that ! forces a local override of whatever configuration is used globally.

Seems you have something else in mind! The idea of supporting /*! notation is to have the ability to flip minifed CSS, (most minifier now preserve /*! comments).

Oh, then yeah, this feature definitely needs clearer documentation. What's the use case for flipping minified CSS?

Saving only the minified LTR version and RTL it on the fly!
