GNOME Shell 3.14 scalable icons (new implementation) #23

GNOME Shell 3.14 status icons for notifications (such as when changing the volume with the keyboard) are now implemented in a different way (as seen in adwaita-icon-theme's icon.theme):

[scalable/status]
Context=Status
Size=16
MinSize=8
MaxSize=512
Type=Scalable

So that, the files under 16x16/status are no longer recognised as scalable icons.

That's not new, it's old.

Anyway, the icons look bad when using Moka/Faba under GNOME 3.14, whilst it looks all right when using Adwaita:

Is this in the stable PPA or the daily builds one?

For dailies, it's been fixed.

I'm using the dailies, yes. Thanks :)

Do report back when the update lands.

All right, the update has landed, but as stupid as it sounds, Type=scalable lines have to be Type=Scalable.

It doesn't even make sense, but that's how it apparently is schemed in 3.14.
I have tested the changes in GNOME Shell 3.10 and GNOME Shell 3.12 and fortunately it doesn't break the icons at all 😃

PS. 32x32/panel is listed in the index.theme whilst the folder does not exist.
