Themis is a decentralized, federated discussion network based on the ActivityPub standard.
Note: Right now, this project is in a very, very early alpha stage. Not every feature is implemented, and almost everything is still broken. Watch this space for more information.
The goal of Themis is to create a platform for discussion, debate, and communication using a topic-centered model. Rather than the ephemeral messaging of Twitter, Mastodon, etc., we believe that this style, derived from message boards, web forums, and Usenet, can foster a healthier sort of conversation.

Themis is free open source software under the MIT licensed.
- Code is not nearly production-ready
- TypeORM config is set to debug mode (a test SQLite DB with synchronize = true)
