前のディスカッションから次のことが判明しています。

1. @cryptcoin-junkey がcore v0.21を密かに作成中である
2. このv0.21ではBitcoinが実施したTaprootのSpeedy Trialを実施しない。
3. 理由はMonacoinにはTaprootを実装するメリットがないからである
4. また、Ordinalsがもうひとつの理由である
5. 一方で、Signetの実装は必要である

@cryptcoin-junkeyの考えでは現在のモナコインにはタップルートを有効にする特別な理由はないということであり、BitcoinがTaproot/Ordinalsに関していくつかの問題に直面していると感じているそうです。

まあ、@cryptcoin-junkeyがOrdinalsを嫌う理由はよくわかります。MonacoinのL1でNFTが発行できるようになったらL2のモナパーティーの存在価値が相対的に低下してしまう可能性がありますからね。このような利害関係のある@cryptcoin-junkeyの意向だけでMonacoinの将来を決めて良いものなのか、よーく議論したほうがよいと思います。

Please refrain from using an accusatory tone, as well as formulating your own stories about motives behind people you communicate with. If you want to have a constructive discussion, you should provide concrete talking points that support the changes you want to see implemented. The way your post is written does not appear to me as one that would result in positive feedback, and I'm sure you're aware of this.

And don't forget, this has historically been a hobby project, per @tcejorpniocanom's words from a while back. Thus, there has never really been a roadmap or expected timeline for new features or changes apart from "when I feel it is necessary" or "when I can make time to work on it". Probably due to a lack of dedicated resources, the project has generally taken a stance of only introducing significant changes if it provides significant benefit and is applicable to this project.

It can be argued that a lot of scalability issues with Bitcoin are not applicable to this project. From my cursory reading of what Taproot is (which you've gladly provided zero information on, I believe?), I am assuming that @cryptcoin-junkey's choice of not implementing Taproot is that it practically does not need it (please correct me if I'm wrong). So, perhaps it would be reasonable to provide reasons why you think this is incorrect and specify what problems it would solve on Monacoin.

L1に恒久的にNFTやらデータが保管できるとなれば、人気が再燃する可能性もあるし、より実用的なニーズの発生やアプリケーションの発展が期待できるのではないでしょうか。
この場合、スパムを心配する必要があるかと思いますが、これは安すぎる現在の手数料に問題の本質があるのであって、この際まじめに検討して水準訂正するべきかと思います。

I would rather not accept your proposal if data is stored roughly in L1 after activating Taproot.
It's perfectly my core concern.

I suppose that the Bitcoin chain also has the same issue.
So I guess this issue will be resolved by Bitcoin-core in a future release.
It won't be too late to activate after the issue is solved on Bitcoin-core. IMO.

In fact, Ordinals NFT and Counterparty can coexist. Of course Monaparty also.
My concern is that Ordinals (and inspired apps) will require huge storage to all Taproot activated nodes.
It doesn't matter if it's an NFT (and images) or not.

Ordinalsによって巨大なストレージが必要になるとのことですが、その根拠を示してください。
現在のMonacoinのブロックはガラ空きで、トランザクションが10ブロックに1つあるかどうかという程度です。このあまりにも利用されていない状況がOrdinalsによって改善されるとしたらそれは望ましいことではないでしょうか？
巨大化すると仮定するならばOrdinalsが相当人気化すると考えられますので、「モナパーティーの存在価値が相対的に低下してしまう可能性がある」という認識は妄想ではなく現実的ではないですかね？

ストレージを巨大化させることが目的ではありませんので、Ordinalsが適度に活用されるような手数料を探ることが解となるのではないでしょうか？

具体的に手数料を検討しましょう。
現在、主要なパラメータは次の通りです。
DEFAULT_TRANSACTION_MINFEE = 100000 sat/KvB
DEFAULT_MIN_RELAY_TX_FEE = 1000 sat/KvB
DEFAULT_BLOCK_MIN_TX_FEE = 1000 sat/KvB
（参考：100000 sat/KvBはコアウォレットのデフォルトの最低手数料です。）

DEFAULT_MIN_RELAY_TX_FEEとDEFAULT_BLOCK_MIN_TX_FEEをDEFAULT_TRANSACTION_MINFEEと同じ100000 sat/KvBへと100倍アップすれば充分だと思います。
これにより全ブロックがOrdinalsで満杯になった場合の1ヶ月の手数料は概算で28800 MONA、144万円程度と試算できます。
この規模でスパムを仕掛けられるとは思われませんし、スパムでなくてこれだけ使われるなら実に喜ばしいことではないのでしょうか？

A relay fee tuning is only effective in case major relay nodes could upgrade newer (typically newest) versions.
I (and maybe you) can't control relay nodes.

This issue can be resolved easier by miners. They have a right to avoid any transactions.
It is more appropriate to entrust miners to economic rationality.

I perfectly agree with these two sentences.

I think no developer of Taproot/Tapscript designs it to be a garbage storage on L1.

It might be "An Ordinal approach is a badass hack by genius users".
And on the view of Taproot/Tapscript designers, "Ordinal is born from a design failure". IMO.

I suppose there is no reason to follow their design failure in a hurry.

IMO, it's not a matter of node devs'.
It should be fixed by miners and transaction publishers.
All miners have a right to avoid any transactions that set a cheap miner fee.
Actually, it looks that some miners avoid SegWit transactions, right?

手数料に関して書いている部分はその通りですが、問題の捉え方が間違っています。
@cryptcoin-junkey の懸念事項はストレージの巨大化です。手数料によってこの懸念事項が解決できるのか否かが問われています。
それで解決できると考えるのであれば、小生が主張しているように手数料のパラメータを書き換えるべきです。マイナーがそのコードを受け入れるか否かはマイナーの勝手ですが、一般論としては手数料が上がる方向のものをマイナーが拒否する理由は無いと考えるのが常識的でしょう。

In other words, miners may reject cheaper fee transactions, right?
And as you know, the miner fees of SegWit (especially Taproot) are cheaper than traditional transactions.

一方Taprootはここ数年におけるBitcoinの大型の改善と言われており、Bitcoinの未来を切り開く礎となる技術であることは周知の事実です。ですからこれをMonacoinに実装することはあまりに当たり前のことと世間一般は認識すると思われます。

lol. lmao. for a project with no actual code of conduct, deciding to "close" discussions, twice in a row, like they're issues/bug reports with no legitimate basis ain't it, chief, especially given the plethora of discussions that have for the most part reached resolution but are still open, because that's often how forums (which discussions are meant to be) typically work. (although I do see a few that should actually be closed/archived, in my opinion.) closing a thread to hide it from the default view because "just guess" is such a big brain move, but if that's how you want to run this show, be my guest.

You could consider a spec of GitHub discussions.

If you choose the type "Q&A", I could set the thread as "answered" and keep it open.
But on type "general", only "close" is provided to temporarily converge the argument that has fallen into "parallel lines due to assumptions without evidence".

@monacoin-core might choose the wrong type in starting his discussion, maybe he has less knowledge about GitHub.
I don't know his skill level. Just I can say "Study! Cheers!" to him.
