I wanted to try Mongoose, but stumbled at the first hurdle:

Mac OS, WeMos D1 Mini Lite, load ESP8266 demo:
//=========================================================================
Fetching https://github.com/mongoose-os-apps/demo-c/releases/download/1.26/demo-c-esp8266-1M.zip...
Flashing error: failed to load https://github.com/mongoose-os-apps/demo-c/releases/download/1.26/demo-c-esp8266-1M.zip: https://github.com/mongoose-os-apps/demo-c/releases/download/1.26/demo-c-esp8266-1M.zip: failed to fetch: 404 Not Found
//=========================================================================

There is no demo-c-esp8266-1M.zip - there is a file at https://github.com/mongoose-os-apps/demo-c/releases/download/1.26/ called demo-c-esp8266.zip but no sample file for a 1M ESP.

My issue reported March 30 - 4 months on, not even an acknowledgement of the issue from the devs.

Way to build a base. I’m out
