Error when trying to activate two factor authentication

Settings >> Security >> Enable Two Factor authentication results in red "Error when trying to activate two factor authentication" message in bottom right corner.

Self-hosted Monica v3.7.0 via docker-compose

Occurs after I reset google_2fa to fix "MAC is invalid" errors per #5235.

.env. file correctly matches DB_HOST to Monica db container name. Logs don't show any obvious errors and APP_DEBUG=true does not display any additional information when errors occurs.

What else can I try to fix my Monica instance and correctly enable 2FA?

I tried enabling 2FA using Chrome browser and it worked. Seems like the issue might be related to Firefox, which always results in the above error.

I don't think this is a bug - since you manually edited the DB to "disable" MFA.

Deactivating and reactivating works fine via UI (tested in firefox 91)
