.Net MAUI Windows Skia does not render when page is not focused

I have a Windows application built using .Net MAUI. We are drawing some images on a page using SkiaSharp and everything works fine. But in some cases when the page is not focused when drawing the images, the images do not show. The code execution goes through as expected (via PaintSurface) but the image is not displayed on the page.

This behavior becomes more regular when screen sharing over MS Teams.

If anybody has any pointers on this, will greatly appreciate it.
