The cross "✕" in moviepopup -> close-button is rendered as "✕" in Chrome 28.0.1500.95 OSX and Safari when viewing at http://montagejs.org/apps/popcorn/ :
popcorn-remote

Renders good locally.

Thanks, I think it's a lack of <meta> tag specifying the encoding. I'll look into it.

I'd assume it will be fixed by adding <meta charset='utf-8'>
