See this thread http://pageonex.com/numeroteca/genero-en-las-fotos-de-portada/:
screenshot from 2018-10-26 11-32-42

where the red layer "Femenino" (see original file http://pageonex.com/assets/threads/2/348/970/code_900_overlay.png) is not rendered properly in red, but in a red-blue color.

Original view of "Femenino" red layer:

The "Masculino" layer, which should be plain blue is displayed with those brown artifacts. I am not finding any blend mode that could modify the display of the images. Which could be the reason?

Ups, it seems it is a problem with Chrome (on Ubuntu 18.04). Firefox displays the color correctly.

This was the problem and the fix, go to chrome://flags/ and change Force Color Profile to sRGB https://www.faqforge.com/windows/fixed-google-chrome-wrong-color-after-update/
