the ComFast CF-926AC V2 doesnt support linux it looks like. the 953 does. why not use openwrt? its what im using with the cf-953ax |

I actually tested ComFast CF-926AC V2 in a RasPi OS 64bits and is detected properly. I can install quickly the OS in a Pi4B and run some tests, if you need. I used RaspAP with ComFast CF-926AC V2 but it was not very stable, had issues with the UI. I'm currently using OpenWrt with ComFast CF-953AX. |

As alternative to #145, I'm starting this discussion to build a travel router using RasPiOS with hostapd. I tried RaspAP but I was not happy with the results. The interface freezes sometimes and I cannot randomly access the WiFi network.
So I'm looking for suggestions how to setup a RasPi4B with hostapd. Basically, I should be able to login through an USB WiFi AP connection and configure the public WiFi client. Ideally through a web UI interface. If you can provide a link to a guide, it will be appreciated.
I have two WiFi adapters on hand, ComFast CF-926AC V2 and ComFast CF-953AX.
