What workaround are you looking for? 1.5.3 does not support this feature. 2.0
does.

All binary downloads are removed from this site. It contains only sources for
GPL version.

Install version 2.0 from Google play.

oh is it, and i have a last query. When i looked at the home page of the
EbookDroid project, i have found out, "ebookdroid-mupdf-2.0.5.zip mupdf
decoder sources for EBookdroid 2.0.5 Sources", in the downloads section. and
mentioned "THIS FILE IS ONLY FOR DEVELOPERS!!!". What is this file for?

According to GPL, we have to distribute GPL licensed code for standalone
decoders which use it. So it is sources of executable PDF decoder.
