I run a local Weave server (Firefox Sync) server on a private network. It communicates via SSL. It is not viewable from outside my network. Because the convergence Notarys can't see it or get a cert SSL does not work and the service fails. Is there a way to whitelist this server?

You should be able to add the certificate fingerprint of the server to the certificate cache manually. (options > cache manager > add certificate).
