Updates to development builds of Noscript are offered on http://noscript.net/getit . The link to the newest build points to a https site. But I always get an error message telling me that its download was not possible as there was a connection error with noscript.net - although the link points to https://secure.informaction.com/download/betas/noscript-2.2.9rc1.xpi . Disabling Convergence 0.09 doesn't help. I have to deactivate Convergence in about:addons and to restart Firefox in order to download and install the newest Noscript version.

The same problem with Lastpass from https://lastpass.com/misc_download.php (download link: https://download.lastpass.com/lp_linux.xpi ) and HTTPS Everywhere from https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere (download link: https://www.eff.org/files/https-everywhere-latest.xpi ). The files are downloaded but upon installation I get above mentioned "connection error".
