Build: 17.0 (15036)
Device: iPad Air 2
iOS: 11.4

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Firefox in Normal Browsing
  2. Close Firefox from app switcher
  3. Open a New Private Tab via Today Widget

Actual results:

  • The URL bar is not focused and the VKB is not displayed.

Note:

  1. On some occasions this will cause Top Sites to not be displayed in the current tab.
  2. On iOS 11.x the issue is more easily to reproduce. Just opening a tab via Today Widget will not focus the URL bar.
