[Linux] Cannot scroll in App Exclusions screen and the info box is not displayed when returning to the screen after VPN is turned on #9397

Important details:

  • The info box is displayed if App Exclusions screen was not opened before turning on the VPN, but the screen is still not scrollable;
  • The info box is displayed if leaving the App Exclusions screen and returning;
  • The issue is reproducible for both regular and QT builds;

Version/build found in:

  • 2.22.0 (2.22.0~build20240418-mantic1);

Reproducible on:

  • Linux;

Prerequisites:

  • Have the Mozilla VPN app installed and opened;

  • Be in signed in;

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Settings -> App Exclusions.
  2. Click on the Home icon from the navbar and turn the VPN on.
  3. Click on the Settings icon from the navbar.
  4. Observe the App Exclusions screen.

Expected result:

  • The App Exclusions list is displayed and disabled, the screen is scrollable. 
  • The info box informing that the VPN must be off to edit App exclusions is displayed.

Actual result:

  • The screen is not scrollable.
  • The info box informing that the VPN must be off to edit App exclusions is not displayed.
