Because the model data seems to be dependent on the code: #423 (comment)
It would be better to tag a software release whenever a new model is released.
That way the model could be also be uploaded to the release on github rather being hidden behind some wiki links. If you don't want to provide stable releases yet, there is also a way of marking git tags as pre-releases.

You are right. This is what we plan but we wait for the 0.1.0 release to be a bit more stable which is soon to be done.
