[Affected versions]:

  • Firefox 115.10.0esr (Build ID: 20240411201503)
  • Firefox Release 125.0.2
  • FIrefox Beta 126.0b4 (Build ID: 20240422091940)
  • Nightly 127.0a1 (Build ID: 20240424093459)

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Windows 10
  • macOS 13.1
  • Ubuntu 22.4

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have the following prefs set:
    "cookiebanners.service.enableGlobalRules" set to true
    "cookiebanners.service.mode set" to 1
    "cookiebanners.service.mode.privateBrowsing" set to 1

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the Firefox browser using the profile from prerequisites.
  2. Navigate to any of the following domains: blitz.bg, sport24.gr, origo.hu, fakti.bg.
  3. Observe the cookie banner.

[Expected result]:

  • The cookie banner is blocked and not displayed.

[Actual result]:

  • The cookie banner is displayed.

[ Notes]:

  • Here is the list with the domains affected: blitz.bg, sport24.gr,origo.hu, fakti.bg.
  • However, it seems that on some machines the cookie banner is blocked on the following domains: blitz.bg, sport24.gr, origo.hu.
  • I haven't tested all the domains from the list, so probably there are more domains where the cookie banner is not blocked.
