I installed the firefox extension from current (5 July 2012) git master, then viewed http://vimeo.com. I was greeted by an "oops" message. Screencapture is attached.

What needs to be done to support H.264 with Shumway?

We're not far enough along to support Vimeo or even H.264. We have two options for H.264 video, use a native codec or fall back on something like Broadway.js. Though, we haven't given it much thought.

Thanks, Michael

It would be helpful if Firefox itself supported H264.
Or do you not use the HTML5 video decoders?

Native H264 is coming to FF https://hacks.mozilla.org/2012/03/video-mobile-and-the-open-web/

On platforms that have h264, we support playing videos encoded with it. That currently means everything except Windows XP, but even that will be supported soon
