The very first use I chose for Side View was to keep a reference page up. I regularly have this tab up and search it many times a day. There doesn't seem to be a way to search the contents of the Side View panel. CTRL-F only searches the main tab and context menu within the side bar does not provide a search/find option either.

Thank you, this is a good suggestion. It will not be simple to implement but we will put it on the list for the future.
