I'm looking at Test Pilot in Italian and I see June 29th, 2017 instead of a properly localized date.

Now it looks like this, with localized names and a completely broken format for Italian. Full English would be better.

Might be better to use the Intl.DateTimeFormat API? Seemed like we had good luck with it on Snooze Tabs and it seems to have good browser support.

Yes, I think that would be a better approach
