Live Demo Dropdowns do not work on Safari #21

It seems that in Safari the dropdowns never get populated.

Tested with Safari Version 16.0 (18614.1.19.1.5) on macOS 13.0 Beta (22A5295h).

It looks like it is an issue with the WASM?

Same thing in Safari on iOS (15.5)
