Boundary message isn't silent/seamless - 210.5.6.1 #151
Comments
that makes sense, but i think it's supposed to do that already.. what version are you using? |
Oh, that's interesting. I'm using chatpatches-204.6.2 for Minecraft 1.20.4 on Fabric. |
It's the same on 1.21 for me. (chatpatches-210.6.5.1) |
okay i don't think i've been able to reproduce this, can you send a log from a game session when this happened? also, has this issue always been a thing, or do you remember an earlier version when this didn't happen? |
Not sure if this has always been a thing, but it might have been. Haven't always used ChatPatches. Hope this will suffice. I went in and out of a single player world and a server a few times. Edit2: added the log file through your link |

There you go, thanks for that link. |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I love the Session Boundary making it really clear which world messages belong to, but I don't like the Session Boundary popping up as if it's a newly send chat message that I receive when I enter a world. The message immediately grabs my attention and breaks immersion for me.
Describe the solution you'd like
A toggle option in the Session Boundary menu, called something like 'Silent toggle'. When ticked, the Session Boundary will be saved in the log and chat history, but not shown upon entering a world as a newly received chat message.
