RAM/swap usage increasing as compiling #184

The RAM/swap usage increases as I compile over and over until it's full and atom crahses. If I close atom, a lot of ram is free again. I checked the RAM/swap usage while compiling again and again and it's increasing little by little.

Are there some files being stored in the RAM without it being necessary ?
