This is the place to gather ideas, measure interest and discuss the API and implementation details of the autocomplete component and hook.

While the useAutocomplete hook already exists in Base UI, it has been created long ago, and it does not conform to the patterns we currently use in the library. We can discuss how it can be overhauled.

For the unstyled component version, we could use https://twitter.com/nicolaslopess__/status/1623732463980740608 to guide the direction.
