@kj11 They are different concerns bundled in one issue here:

  1. The component crashes on IE 11. This is, I think, the point we should focus on.
  2. The icon doesn't render on the server. This sounds fine.
  3. The documentation crash on IE 11. I wouldn't worry much about it. We are investing resourcing in leveraging the existing stack of http://material-ui.com/, which renders well on IE 11.

I don’t have an access to any windows machine. If you could check why this happens — it will be really helpful

I am seeing following error in console when page loads

Nothing in console when clicking on the Date Picker icon.

I'm closing waiting for upvotes as it didn't seem to get traction, the picker has never supported IE11, so I think that it's fair to say that most developers don't care and the trend is downward.
