hey @sbuss!

Thanks so much for this. As you may know, we recently created the Multiformats organization to be a home for all of the multiformats - multiaddr, multihash, etc. Would you be interested in moving this repository to that organization?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. 👍

Tracking issue, here: multiformats/multiformats#4.

This sounds like a good idea, and I might be interested in implementing more of the Multiformats in python. I haven't had much time for personal work recently (started a new job a couple months ago), but hopefully I'll have more time open up soon. I'll try to consider this and make a decision over the weekend.

@sbuss Sounds good to me; there's absolutely no rush.

You would still have admin rights on the repository, but it would be a part of a wider organization. This would mean more relevant eyes on it (most likely) and better cross-repository issue tracking. We'd also add a line mentioning you as the original author, and your commits would stay the same.

Of course, keeping it on your profile is also cool; we'll still link to this from the main multihash repository at github.com/multiformats/multihash.

In multiformats/multiformats#6, we're talking about the possibility of having 'captains' for each of the multiformats, including moved implementations. This might make it easier for you, as you can hand it over to someone else if you're worried about long term obligation.

@sbuss: Did you give somebody from the community or organization access to the PIP module so that they can push new versions? (Just checking.)

@Alexander255 No, not yet. I mentioned to @raulk that I can add someone to https://pypi.org/project/multiaddr/ but I'm waiting to hear back about what account to add.

Created #30 to coordinate
