To run venv: source env/bin/activate

To count number of line run: find . -name '.' -not -path "./env*" -not -path "./.git*" -not -path "./website/static/bootstrap-3.3.7-dist*" | xargs wc -l

ideas for features to include:

  • virtual partner to complete segment fastest could use historical power data to figure out pacing
  • select area, click on area to perform action
    1. return who has ridden the most in it

A barebones Python app, which can easily be deployed to Heroku.

Running Locally

Make sure you have Python installed properly. Also, install the Heroku Toolbelt and Postgres.

$ git clone git@github.com:heroku/python-getting-started.git
$ cd python-getting-started

$ pip install -r requirements.txt

$ createdb python_getting_started

$ python manage.py migrate
$ python manage.py collectstatic

$ heroku local

Your app should now be running on localhost:5000.

Deploying to Heroku

$ heroku create
$ git push heroku master

$ heroku run python manage.py migrate
$ heroku open
