When an Accordion symbol is place in the mainscore and linked to a rest, it does not appear in the part when this is generated.
Symbols are also placed "in" the staff by default, this is the same behaviour as in MS3 but I wonder if that is correct/desired behaviour as they are not really visible/readable like this.

Create a new score
Ensure the Accordion palet is visible
Enter some notes and rest
Add an Accordion symbol to a rest
Click on Parts and open the part
