Issue type

General playback bug

Bug description

Scoops in the score arrive at the target note early (so they also start the scoop too early, which can cause other problems)
Additionally, in some cases they end the note early too, and in general scoops just sound really janky atm

Steps to reproduce

  1. Write a scooped note after another note (probably a short one)
  2. Hear that the scoop steals almost all the time from the other note and just generally sounds bad

Does this also occur with MS Basic, or is it only happening when you use Muse Sounds?

Seems to be Muse Sounds only. MS Basic sounds a little funny as it generally is with portamento/bends, but Muse Sounds is sometimes just way way off in the timing.

Here's a simplistic example:

I see there was a recent PR's for bend playback not yet in 4.1, not sure if that's relevant - #18180

I see also #14443 but note that is regarding MS Basic and I'm not sure it's still applicable.

Actually, scoops are quite incorrect for MS Basic as well, just differently so than for Muse Sounds. For MS Basic, the start time seems OK, but the note ends way too early:
