Issue type

Engraving bug

Bug description

When switching to slash notation on a dotted chord, the resulting slash seems to retain the dots from several notes distributed in the staff, resulting in more than one dot.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Stack several notes to form a chord on a staff.
  2. Change the note value to a dotted value.
  3. Select a note in the chord and hit ctrl + S or select Toggle rhythmic slash notation from the Tools menu.

It gets even worse in the current development builds, on 1st toggle it doesn't switich to slash but looses all but one notes of the chord, on 2nd toggle it behaves like the OP describes, on 3rd (!) toggle or undo it chrashes.

So it also is a 4.1.1 regression

I believe this may be a part of the same issue, and I only just noticed it: Multiple ties connected to a chord don't get reduced to a single tie when switching it to rhythmic slash notation. If the connected following object is not a rhythm slash itself, but a chord, then that makes sense, but that's probably a rare use case. Mostly it will be two slashes connected, and then there should only be a single tie between them.
