Ability to specify information for a transaction that will be created automatically. All fields should be optional

I mocked up a simple way to implement this, UI-wise:

financius repeat

The transaction editor could have a dropdown box letting you choose from Doesn't repeat, Repeats Weekly, Repeats monthly and so on.

Any progress on this? This is the one thing I would need to be able to actually use this productively, as I have a non-trivial number of monthly transactions to take care of, and that number will only grow.

For me this is the main missing feature in the app, I think most people have things like monthly bills or income.
Also, having this data you could add something like a "projection" of account balances at the end of the month as a subsequent feature.

@mvarnagiris I'd like to work on this feature if you don't mind.

Absolutely love your app!

I will be doing this soon, because this feature needs server side

Are you planning on making Financius a server-client app? Is that maybe a tiny bit overkill?

Else what did you mean by "server side" ?

Not an overkill. If you want to have proper synchronization between devices and web version and maybe iOS version then you need a server side

Can you please make sync an optional feature? There are so many apps that require you to sign into something, and I love financius for not making me sign up for something and store potentially sensitive information about my finances in "the cloud", whatever that may be in the specific case. And not having some features (like recurring transactions) just because you want to keep your data private would be bad form...

It will be optional don't worry :)

@mvarnagiris Can you give a rough estimation, when this future will be available?
