One of the features I use most is the copy function button. For any word that
is not a verb, the button appears at the top of the screen and makes copying
information into flashcards a breeze. For verbs, however, there are more tabs,
so there isn't enough room for as many buttons. The copy function ends up
hidden under the menu button, requiring two extra clicks for each copy. The
column button, however, always appears regardless of entry type.

It would be great if in the GUI menu the user could select which buttons appear
at the top of each type of entry. I personally would choose to always show the
copy button since I use it so often. Since I haven't needed to change the
number of columns after initially setting it, I would choose to always hide the
column button. I suspect others might have differing preferences.

You're right, the "column count" icon is a configuration item, and as such, it
is rarely used. I will move this icon to the action overflow.
